CCE Cattaraugus will be hosting workshops throughout the month of October to celebrate New York being the largest producer of table Beets (by acre) in the United States with their 2023 harvest. The Olean City School District will be introducing students to beets through their Farm to School and Cafeteria programs, as they have named beets their harvest of the month food for their district. They will hold tasting opportunities for their Elementary and High Schools students throughout the month.
