Poultry Business – Thursday, June 4, 2015 6:30-9:00 PM at Wild Geese Farm. Evening workshop for the diversified farmer, but usefully for the family producer as well, to gain understand of the costs of production. This session will include basics of bookkeeping, marketing, and pricing of product. Labeling and other requirements for sale of birds direct to consumer or to grocery and restaurants.
This is the third workshop in the Poultry Production for Farm & Family workshop series. The workshop series is designed for individuals wanting to explore chicken production for family use or diversification of farm products. Training will be held at Wild Geese Farm in Rushford.
