The Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning, and Tourism, and Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Allegany and Cattaraugus Counties will host a seminar for farmers and landowners interested in diversifying into hops production to meet the needs of the growing home and micro-brewing industries.
The seminar will be held on Tuesday, April 15 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Cattaraugus County Government Building at 303 Court Street in Little Valley.
The seminar is free and open to the public but pre-registration is recommended. The demand for locally grown hops is outpacing production. This workshop will explain how & why growers might enter this field.
Presenters
