On-Farm Poultry Processing Workshop on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The workshop will provide hands-on experience in the processing of birds. Demonstration will cover proper technique for dressing poultry and review requirements for selling poultry under 1000 bird exemption in NYS.
This is a workshop in the Poultry Production for Farm & Family workshop series. The workshop series is designed for individuals wanting to explore chicken production for family use or diversification of farm products. Training will be held at Wild Geese Farm in Rushford.
